I am working on a request from our capacity manager to gather information on CPU utilization of all processes running on a set of servers. The data is available on PerfMon as "Process - % Processor Time - <All instances>" I understand that the Performance monitor probe cannot use the <All instances> variable, though I have seen a few threads that have stated that they were working on the <All instances> issue in perfmon in SAM 6.2 which I am running but I don't see that resolved yet, so that seems to be out and I have no way to tell all processes running on hundreds of servers so individually choosing processes is not an option. Has anyone created a process monitor script that can gather information on all running processes?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
