is it possible to monitor the number of instances of a process running?
Well, actually, Josh C., the Dev Lead for APM, pointed out to me that you can created an alert based on APM: Component alert and select "Process Instance Count" as the variable. So you can alert on it.
I remembered that we'd heard it, but I forgot that we'd addressed it. Doh!
Not at this time, but it's a request we've heard before.
