Upgrading to Server 2008

Question

Hello

We currently use NPM and NCM on Server 2003 r2 and we want to upgrade to Server 2008 R2

Should this be just a straight forward upgrade of the OS and the Solarwinds install works without any config changes?

We are also going to upgrade our database server (SQL 2005) to Server 2008

I will obviously take backups of both servers beforehand but is there anything else I need to consider

Advanced alerts would be no problem, but I don't know about basic (I don't use them).
