Could I install NPM and SAM on the same server?

Could someone suggest if we could install the NPM and SAM in one server or is it recommended to separate them into different servers?

Can you post the reference that says they should be installed on separate servers? The applications should be on the same box, but the database should be separated.

Indeed, Install NPM and SAM in the same Orion instance to get the platform integration. The Orion Database (SQL) should be on a separate DB Server to maximize your performance.

Hi,

Yes you can install NPM & SAM application on same server. If you are deploying it in production recommended to use separate server for database.

Yes, we have them both in the same VM, only the database is in its own VM

Definitely you can install multiple SolarWinds Orion Platform products on the same server.
