What is the difference between these 2 icons in the All Active Alerts view

I have searched and searched but could not find the answer. Can someone explain to me what the different between the 2 icons below mean?

these icons indicate a difference in severity for the alert.

Thank you very much and your correct. The solid one was set to Critical and the other was set to Serious. Thanks again.
