multiple site reporting

Hello,

My company recently set up Solar Winds to monitor multiple clients devices. I have been tasked with running weekly reports for each client. I do not have a SQL background so was digging around to see if there was an easy way to do this. I ran across setting up additional poller engines and was wondering:

A. Should I just go learn SQL and find the right query.

B. Research setting up an additional Poller engine per client.

C. Start drinking.

I guess I am not sure what to look for or where to go next.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Have you tried using Report Writer?

Start > All Programs > Solarwinds Orion > Alerting, Reporting and Mapping > Report Writer.

Administration Guide - Creating Reports

and then add a Custom Node Property to each device with the client name?

Creating Custom Properties

to finally filter the reports based on this Custom Property?

Select Fields Options tab

Once the report is ready, schedule it using Orion Report Scheduler:

That pointed me in the right direction. I had been looking in the Report Writer but could not find the field for clients or customers. Browsing the help docs I got confused when I ran across polars.
