Does this component monitor only work if the value returned is a number? And if the answer to that is yes, is there another component that will result fields that are not numbers? Or perhaps I should say "rational numbers", as it appears in another post I saw a guy having a problem with an IP address getting truncated to two octects which Orion probably thought was a rational number.
