Can't create OrionNPMWeb.Application object Error #429

Hi there,

I'm trying to install Orion 9 for Evaluation Purpose in a client. During the wizard I got Can't create OrionNPMWeb.Application object Error #429 ActiveX component can't create object when loading Web configuration into SQL DB; then, after I hit the OK buttom the wizard continues and I got the same error #429 when updating Custom.config file.

I will appreciate any help with it... I'm in the client site.

Are there other SW products installed on that box?

You might try the steps in this thread

Yes, Enginner Edition and Orion 8.5 evaluation. I tried the KB (http://support.solarwinds.com/kbase/ProblemDetail.cfm?ID=542) without success. I tried to re-install only Orion 9 after uninstall the apps and remove whatever registry entries I found with 'orion' or 'solarwinds' keyword. Also, I tried to add IUSR_SERVER user with Full Control in the inetpub and solarwinds folders... and create new DBs in the SQL server.

What else I could do to be able to install Orion 9 successfully.
