Feature Request: Node status reflects application status

We are currently monitoroing about 800 nodes and 1500 applications. We have a very detailed map of the network infrastructure that works very well. One thing that we have noticed, and that annoys us, is that if an application goes down on a node, the node does not turn yellow or red on the map. I have used WhatsUp Gold in the past and it works flawlessly in this manner. If IIS goes down on a Windows server, the node goes red on the map. Would it be possible to do the same with SolarWinds?

The plan in the next version of NPM is to show status, but not by changing the color of the node. Instead, the blinking red square will now reflect that some child object of a node is down, either an interface, an application, etc.
