SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1 Hotfix 3 This hotfix addresses an issue where the Worldwide Map resource is unusable, and includes hotfixes 1 and 2 for SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1. The hotfix is cumulative with SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1 Hotfix 2 that addresses an issue where the Configuration Wizard fails with the following message: "Database configuration failed: Error while Executing script- Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =,!== or when the subquery is used as an expression." The hotfix is cumulative with SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1 Hotfix 1 that addresses the following issues: * The All Groups resource with edited resource properties is empty after the upgrade. * Editing a custom property results in an exception. * When scheduling a discovery, only a part of the date and time information is displayed in the UI. * SAM Threshold breaks the Configuration Wizard Apply this hotfix if you run any of the following SolarWinds products: * NPM 12.0 * SAM 6.2.4 * NCM 7.5.0 * SRM 6.3 * UDT 3.2.4 * VNQM 4.2.4 * IVIM 2.1.2 Notes: * This hotfix requires SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1. * This hotfix must be installed on the main poller, on any additional pollers, and webservers. * This hotfix addresses the described issues for all SolarWinds Orion Platform products. To install this hotfix: 1. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator. 2. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager. 4. Run the OrionPlatform-v2016.1.5300-HotFix3.exe file, and follow the instructions in the installation wizard. After applying this fix, the issues outlined in the description should no longer occur. To uninstall this hotfix: 1. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator. 2. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager. 4. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > View installed updates. 5. SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1 Hotfix 3 - Worldwide Map

SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1 Hotfix 3

This hotfix addresses an issue where the Worldwide Map resource is unusable, and includes hotfixes 1 and 2 for SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1.

The hotfix is cumulative with SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1 Hotfix 2 that addresses an issue where the Configuration Wizard fails with the following message:
"Database configuration failed:
Error while Executing script- Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =,!== or when the subquery is used as an expression."

The hotfix is cumulative with SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1 Hotfix 1 that addresses the following issues:

Apply this hotfix if you run any of the following SolarWinds products:

NPM 12.0

Notes:

This hotfix requires SolarWinds Orion Platform 2016.1.
This hotfix must be installed on the main poller, on any additional pollers, and webservers.
This hotfix addresses the described issues for all SolarWinds Orion Platform products.

To install this hotfix:

1. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator.
2. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager.
4. Run the OrionPlatform-v2016.1.5300-HotFix3.exe file, and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

After applying this fix, the issues outlined in the description should no longer occur.

To uninstall this hotfix:

1. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator.
2. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager.

Our map is still not fixed after applying this, is there anything else we need to do?

Fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling hot fix if anyone else has this issue

Had the same issue. Applied it - and it didn't work. When we checked it the next day - it was working. Really strange.

After applying Hotfix 3 my World Map still wasn't working. I noticed that after the Hotfix is done installing it prompts for a Server reboot and at the same time it pops up the Configuration Wizard so I rebooted the server and after the config wizard never came back up and I went to view the world map and it was still messed up so I manually ran the config wizard on the Primary Poller server as well as the additional poller servers and everything is good to go now. My suggestion is to run the config wizard after the hotfix install

You may need to clear your browser cache and cookies before the Worldwide Map resource is immediately fully functioning. It's likely that your browser cache expired on its own a day later.

I'm fairly certain you need to reboot, then run the config wizard. Probably what you meant (since that is what you did), but just wanted to clarify for anyone else reading that may get confused. Yes, you'll need to manually run the config wizard after reboot. It won't pop up on its own like it did after install.
