Alert based on Sum of Components

I have two Pulse Secure VPNs that are monitored using the Pules Secure APM template from Thwack.  The Template works great.  I am seeing the concurrent connects on each VPN as expected.  We have 900 Licenses.  I need to know if we start getting close to that number.  The total license count is from BOTH VPNs.  How can I set up an alert that takes BOTH Concurrent Connection Numbers, adds them together and then uses that number to determine if we are getting close to a threshold?

There's no out of the box options for this so you'd have to create your own custom sql/swql alert.
