Stop polling Sys Uptime for only 1 device

Hi all,

I have an issue where we are monitoring 3rd party hardware and they refuse to allow us to monitor system uptime so I need to get solar winds to stop polling for system uptime on that one device.

At the moment, our events are being flooded with messages about the device being rebooted as it is not returning a value for system uptime.

can we suspend system uptime polling for just one device?

I am using the module "Latest Events" in the NPM Homepage. I have managed to fiddle with the custom report writer to stop displaying events for that particular node ID, but I do not like that report as it does not highlight the background color's of the events.

Any help appreciated

Are you running on latest NPM 10.1.2? We improved this area to avoid false reboot alerts, but can't say if it solve your problem.

BTW, there's no way to disable sysuptime poll for SNMP nodes. You can switch node to ICMP only, but that's probably not you want.
