Changing WMI credential in credential library/windows credential

Hi Team,
We have WMI based monitoring setup for Windows servers and having different credentials based on different domains...I have below queries regarding wmi credentials...
1.If we change password for any of those credential in AD and update the current password in credential library in SAM, will the change get reflected to all the servers wherever it's assigned or we need to perform any other steps to apply the change to all the servers?

2.If there is any issue with WMI in any of the servers and SAM is not able to poll the server intermittently(though there is no issue with incorrect credential), in that case is there any chance of wmi credential will get locked in AD due to successive polling failure or connection rejection from the monitored server end?

1. Yes once u update the creds in library it should work for all the servers it is tagged to..

2. Regarding locking out the account, is ur account set to never expire? If yes then i dont think it should cause any issue.. but still it is better to watch out for failed login or u can setup an alert to know if any of ur servers are not responding to WMI...

Yes password is set as never expired.If WMI is not responding, what kind of alerts can be set? Will it throw node down alert by default?

There is an alert which can be set whenever WMI is not working for any server so that some action can be taken...i wil send one screenshot to you...

No there wont be any down alert triggered...
