Run-time error '462'

The "SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor" service keeps stopping for no aparent reason.

If I leave Orion System Manager open and log back on to the server, once I click a button or a menu item I get the "Run-time error '462'" and once you click "Ok" it closes Orion System Manager. Picture enclosed here --> www.aspensquare.com/zzzEric/Solarwinds_crash.jpg

I've looked online and in Technet and everything that I find that references 'error 462' seems related to VisualBasic.

Nothing is showing in Event Viewer as to why it is stopping.

I have the problem same, your have some solution? I have Windows 2003 Server SP1 and SQL server 2000 SP3 in same server.

I believe the Solarwinds team is aware of the problem.

I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the latest build and it has been working without any problems (knock on wood) but it still takes about 20 mintutes for the System Manager to open.

They sent me some debugging files to replace some of my existing files to help them debug the problem but I haven't put them in place since it has been working.

The last time I talked to their support they informed me that there were about 4 other people with the same problem and that their developers were working on it.

You might want to give them a call.
