LOAD BALANCING OF SOLARWINDS ADDITIONAL WEB SERVER

We have setup a new Orion environment with the main Orion server and an additional web server. I can't find a good document on configuration process for the needed configuration.

I am trying to load balance between the two web servers, but am getting 404 when using the load balanced URL. If I use the direct server address for both the Orion or additional web server it works as expected.

Can someone point me to the correct IIS and SolarWinds configuration process and / or documentation needed for load balancing the two web servers?

It was an IIS configuration issue.

I had the DNS name setup and the certificate updated in IIS, but I forgot about the IIS bindings.

I just realized this morning I have to add an IIS binding for every name that I want to work for the site. I added the load balance / DNS name into the IIS bindings and all is good.

what sort of a loadbalancer are we talking about here ? do you have a virtual name for your loadbalanced url ? which in-turn resolves on the DNS to one of these hostnames ?

Ensure you are using sticky IP. Some load balancers call it something different. Essentially you want to ensure that the webserver that services your first request is the same web server that services all subsequent requests for that session.
