We have 4 remote pollers and 1 NPM server. The NPM server sits in a firewall'd DMZ. I want to be able to select any of the pollers and be able to connect to the system manager to do so. When I tried it I looked at the denies and saw port 445 & 139 need to be opened up. I put the firewall rules in to do so but I still can't connect. When I select one of the pollers and click the connect to polling engine button I get the following error.
Connected to Netperfmon service, but cannot get application object.
Any ideas?
