Syslog Report

I could use some help. I have tools on my Windows DC's translating and sending Event Logs, specifically Failure Audits, to syslog. That part is working fine, but I need to create a report to show how many failure messages get logged, and I can't seem to find a way to do that.
Has anyone done something similar, and perhaps has a report built like this that I could see?
