I would like to add a new service monitor on a windows server 2008. Discovery scan only list 2 monitors and does not list any service monitors. Please help
Hello,
This normally occurs if ipMonitor cannot communicate with the remote device using SNMP or WMI.
-To test SNMP, use the steps in the following article:
http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/314/Troubleshooting+SNMP+connectivity
-To test WMI, use the steps in the following article:
http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/327/Why+is+ipMonitor+not+finding+resources+using+WMI%3F
Hope this helps.
