I am facing an issue while getting the alerts. The variables are not being properly converted. This is not happening on the same server nor is it very often. But I would like to know the reason behind this. Please suggest.
When they converted from the ${VarName} to ${M=...;N=...} format some of the out of the box stuff got left behind. Just delete the placeholder you have now and click 'insert variables' and find the comparable entry. The new one should work fine.
The most likely issue will be the variable not supported for the version in place.... or there will be an issue with the DB connectivity from Main poller...for DB connectivity u can check the Solarwinds logs in the event viewer...
U can also check the time frame when this happens, it could be intermittent....
