How to program an alert in NPM with node name on alert

Question

how to program an alert in NPM with node name on the alert when you get an alert email warning that a node is DOWN, I would like to put the node name in the message for example, I have two that I monitor client, Client A and Client B, Client A when fall arrives want an alert on my email saying that Customer A has fallen today is as follows, when the Customer falls comes a message that a node this Down

Can someone help me please

From what I am reading it sounds like you are wanting to use the Variable ${NodeName}.  This will pull the name of the node that has triggered the Alert.  You can find these on the Variable button at the bottom of the Alert box when creating the message you are sending out.

This same variable structure can be used to pull different data out of the DB for the alert as well.  IE> IP of the Node, URL Link to the Node.
