Advance Alerts for Brocade

New to Solar winds-I am workign on creating an advance alert for a Brocade switch I have . I have the OID that gives me the status but when I test the alert the operation status is 1. Any ideas on how I can get the message to email the actualy status for the switch?

In the message body of the Email Action you can specify {Node.Status} or {Status} and the variable will be translated when the alert is sent to the correct status.

Status is determined in NPM based on our ability to ping the device. Are you trying to alert based on a UnDP? Here are some other good resources on Alerts.
