Discard Trap Message

The 1st rule in my rules list is one that dump trap messages from internal test severs (192.168.0.0); and this is working but, it's still sending out e-mail messages out from the internal test servers. The rules that send out the e-mails are at the very bottom.

Anyway I can discard these traps in such a way that I do not get e-mails from them?

Hi fmaggio,

Can I confirm if you have added "Stop Processing Trap Rules" in the Alert Actions tab of the rule that you used to discard trap messages from your internal servers?

If the Alert Actions tab just have the action: Discard Trap Message

You might want to add "Stop Processing Trap Rules" to ensure that any messages trigger this rule will skip Global Rules or any other Rules below this.
