Network Manager - Total bandwidth

I'm monitoring the bandwidth of my MPLS network in order to implement a QoS to some protocols, but a doubt arose... When we monitor the incoming and outgoing traffic, how do I calculate the total bandwidth? Just summing the two values?

Yes, if you want to calculate the actual total bandwidth being used you will sum the values, but if you want to calculate the total percent being used you average the transmit percentage value and the receive percentage value.
