Does SolarWinds offer training for Orion? If so where is the info?

Yes, SolarWinds offers training on Orion. This is a relatively new development and this information is just now being placed on our website.

We offer training in two locations. In the US, training is offered at our Dallas, Texas training facility. In the UK, training is offered at the Luton, UK facility. In both cases the training is delivered with the help of our SolarWinds Certified Training Partners.

The training fees differ slightly between the US and UK offerings, but here is an overview of the fees and schedule:

All Inclusive Boot Camp: $2,895
- 3 1/2 day Orion Boot Camp Course
- Four (4) nights accommodation (Mon. -Thur.)
- Meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
- Transportation to and from DFW
- Cirrus DL-5 License ($495 value)

Day One
- Module One: Introduction to Orion (Lecture)
- Module Two: Installation Planning (Lecture)
- Module Three: Installation (Lecture and Lab)

Day Two
- Module Four: Node Population (Lecture and Lab)
- Module Five: Node Maintenance (Lecture and Lab)
- Module Six: Orion Administration
- Module Seven: Web Portal Administration (Lecture and Lab)

Day Three
- Module Eight: Network Maps (Lecture and Lab)
- Module Nine: Reporting (Lecture and Lab)
- Module Ten: Alerts (Lecture and Lab)

Day Four
- Module Eleven: Toolset Integration with Orion (Lecture and Demonstration)
- Module Twelve: Toolset Overview and Demonstration (Lecture and Demonstration)
- Introduction to Cirrus and Corona Technical Services
