Network Sonar Discovery not loading

Hey guys,

I am trying to open the Network Discovery Sonar for the first time, but the wizard won't load and I receive a "Unexpected Website Error, request time out". Same results if I try it through the Settings menu or the Discovery Central.

If I try adding the nodes separately, my SNMP tests are positive (ESXi and VMs) and I can see the node details in the "Choose Resources" section, but I still receive the same error message when I click on NEXT.

I am using a Standalone ESX host with Windows Server 2016 STD for both the web server and the SQL 3.0 server, .NET 4.5. The Windows Firewall is off, no antivirus.

Any ideas?

I'd suggest to restart all Orion services on Orion server (Programs > Solarwinds Orion > Orion Service Manager). If will not help then run Configuration Wizard for all items (database, website. services). If problem still exist then you have 2 options:

  1. repair NPM installation from Control Panel > Uninstall Programs > Repair

  2. assign case for SolarWinds Tech Support.
