I thought I would post this out on Thwack to see if anyone else is or has experienced this issue before. (I have an open TT with tech support but no solution has been found - yet)....
From time to time I see erratic behavior within the web gui for Orion and now the new APM. I am running Orion 8.5.1 SP3 and APM 1.0 SP3. One good example is that if I try to create a multiple Application Monitor in the APM I will get a blank page after clicking submit and nothing I selected on the previous page saved. I have to click on the back button to recover. (I am working around this by exporting and importing templates).
I can easily duplicate this by simply trying to change the default credential for an existing APM to a service account listed in the dropdown list. Once I select it and click on submit the page goes blank.
There is no error and the status on the lower left hand side of the page says 'done'.
One thing I did note and it might not have anything to do with anything is that I noticed that at the very top of my page (the very, very top) where it normally says "SolarWinds Network Managment" it changes to https://<<servername>/Orion/APM/Admin/EditApplicationTemplate.aspx?id=44
I have this same setup on another server and it works fine. I suspect it may be an IIS issue but can't determine what exactly.
Anyone have ideas or seen this before?
