Questions about Monitoring Cisco Unified Communication environment With NPM

I am new to solarwinds administration and have some clients asking some questions about Cisco UC Monitoring with NPM.

I am wondering if there is a plug in or some direct reporting that might provide a better result for the Cisco UC (Unified Communications) environment.

This is a fairly complex environment as it has V-BLOCK components, Gateways, Unified SIP trunks and a large number of applications.

How much of this can I address with SolarWinds? 

Any help is appreciated I am doing research and trying to find some answers now but i figured i would ask thwack!

You will be able to track utilization and stuff with NPM, since you're just monitoring bandwidth and stuff.  You cannot do anything with licensing or UCCE/CUC/CER/IMP/etc

You can track integration between platforms using QoE and/or Netpath, possibly SAM (Server & Application Performance Monitoring | SolarWinds) for some of that advanced stuff.  SAM will also get you O365 and some monitoring of VMware and SAN stuff.

For really advanced stuff, you may want to look at:

Network Traffic Analyzer - Bandwidth Monitor | SolarWinds for in-depth stats on traffic, not just in bytes but source and destination IPs and ports, etc

VoIP QoS - VoIP Monitoring Software | SolarWinds  for IP SLA monitoring, also can be used to calculate estimated MOS scores for calls

Virtual Machine Monitoring & Troubleshooting | SolarWinds  for advanced VMware support well above and beyond what is included in NPM virtualization components
