Perhaps I'm having a senior moment, but - -
I'm moving a long-standing Orion to a new data centre and am taking the opportunity to completely rebuild with "standards" and "a plan". I know it's a novel idea, but I thought I'd give it a try 
I've built a new multi-server complex and have NPMv12 (and all the other new modules) and will re-discover everything, but I'm having problems with the Advanced Filtering Options. For testing purposes, I have a single discovery job looking for one server and trying to get it to notice and add only the vmxnet interface(s) and ignore all the Miniport, loopback, WFP, QoS, virtual and other uninteresting ports, but I cannot get it to auto-add only the few that I want. The docs say that running the discovery manually will offer an addition wizard, so I scheduled the discovery to run in a few minutes and I've tried specifying "does contain" & "does not contain" but it seems to make no difference and offers me absolutely everything on the server.
There seems to be very little documentation on how these selections should be made and I haven't found whether multiple lines of selection are additive or restrictive (AND or OR)
Has anyone seen a document on it ?
Has anyone got these types of discoveries working properly?
Could you share screenshots of your rules please?
