Orion Map Maker crashes

Whenever I go to create a new map in Map Maker, it saves initially but then when I go to add anything to it and save it again, a dialog box appears stating it cannot save the map and that permission is denied. Anyone encountered this problem before? Not sure if it is relevant but I am only running an eval version of Orion and not a full license. Would appreciate any feedback. Cheers
