WMI on Windows 2019

I am trying to add a Windows 2019 server to SAM using the monitor with WMI option. I am using the correct credentials but the test keeps failing. I know that WMI works fine on the new windows 2019 server because I can test with powershell from the SAM server using the same login credentials. The only place this fails is during the WMI test inside the "add node" module inside SAM.

Testing with powershell is pretty meaningless in this context, SW is using WMI so you should test from the same polling engine the node is assigned to, using wbemtest to make it apples to apples.

I used this tester and was able to enumerate the list of WMI classes on the Windows 2019 server using the same credentials.

Does anyone know what this issue could be? I cant add the new Windows 2019 machines to SAM because SAM will not communicate with WMI.

1. the server u trying to add is in domain?

2. the account you are using to test the creds, is it part of the admin group?

3. are all the ports showing open?
