Website Errors

hi Guys,

i'm new here so be gentle!!

i have just installed SP2 for V8.5.1 and can no longer access my website externally. I get to the login page and when i attempt to log in I get the following error page:

Orion Website Error

An error has occurred with the Orion website.

Additional Information

 I have restarted the services and subsequently rebooted the server.

 Has anyone else had this problem?

Solution!! thanks to Mark

i have changed my custom.config to the IP address of my IIS server and everything is now working again.

A couple of suggestions to try-

In the Inetub Folder verify that port 443 is lsited in the custom.config file.

The custom.config is in Intetpub/Solarwinds/Orion and you need to specify the HTTSPORT as: <proxy host="127.0.0.1" port="80" httpsPort="443" />

Also verify what is set in the properties of the IIS Manager.

Also in the IIS properties the SSL port is showing 443.

As I said it was working before i installed SP2. So it appears that a config change in Sp2 has caused the problem.

please replace the ClassicSiteProxy.cs in \Inetpub\SolarWinds\App_Code with the attached version.

You will need to change the file extension from .txt to .cs

I have replaced the file as you described above. I still cannot connect to the website. The error message has now changed to;
