What is meant by "Other" status in Application Monitor

I have an application I'm monitoring and have an alert setup if the application goes "Down". The other day the application seems to have gone down, but the status in the historical data says "Other". what is meant by Other? The other categories are pretty self explanatory - even the very frustrating "Unknown".

I imagine it is a catch all, some possible statuses that would fall into it would be unreachable (if a dependency is set up) or not licensed if you exceeded your sam license count. All told there are nearly 30 different statuses that can sometimes come into play. Look at the last events (might have to add it to the application view if you don't already have it) and see what the event shows for that time stamp.

Yes, Last Events did show that it wasn't responding. I'm not sure how it's different from Down - since apparently it wasn't responding because it was down ... but whatever. Thanks for the help finding a better description.

Depends on the type of component monitor, but using a service monitor as an example, if solarwinds can't reach the device via wmi then it would be not responding, compared to actually reaching the server and seeing the process was stopped and being marked down.

Tengo entendido que el estatus Other, sucede cuando el equipo se ingresa a mantenimiento y a continuación se realiza el poleo a las aplicaciones de SAM en dicho equipo, por consecuente el primer resultado sera el estado azul , ya que no es down, ni unknown .
