"responding again" event doesn't triggered after a "request timed out" event

Dear all,

As far as I understand after the node came up from a request timed out event, NPM will trigger an event that says that the node is responding again.

In my situation, I have some nodes which already came up for a long time after a request timed out event but NPM was never triggered the node is responding again event until I reboot the node.

The request timed out event was triggered after a network configuration issue lead to NPM can not contact with the nodes.

Does anybody have any advice for me in my situation?

For any alert, there are two "action" tabs - the alert trigger action, and the alert reset action. If

1) you don't have any logic set for the alert reset trigger

or

2) you don't have any action set for the alert reset action

... then you aren't going to see anything.
