Hi all,
I'm having some issues migrating nodes from an old SW instance to a new instance. I'm using the recommended method to redeploy the agent using the push install, via the Add node wizard.
On validating the 1st node, a popup indicated detection of an existing agent for a different server, and that continuing would remove this agent. All fine. I continued, and the installation began. However after a few minutes the installation window disappeared and I was back at the start tab of the add node wizard, as if nothing had happened, yet it did appear to migrate the node. So i thought ok, maybe just a glitch.
Onto the 2nd node, and exactly the same thing happened, except this time it was removed from the old instance, BUT did not appear on the new instance at all.
I can't see i'm doing anything wrong, as i am just following the wizard, but it doesn't appear to be behaving as expected.
Any thoughts?
