Adding a new polling engine and removing the previous one

Hello,

We have planned to install new versions of Solarwinds in our production environment.

There are 3 conditions here :

1) We already have a production server with Solarwinds application running.

2) We have a production Solarwinds database server.

3)We will migrate the licenses from old server to new server.

3)Then, we will install new versions of Solarwinds. And this new server will point to the existing database server.

Later on we will decommission the old Solarwinds application server.

My queries are :

1)How do i make sure that the nodes after installation of Solarwinds send data to New server ?

2)Since the old polling engine will still be there till the installation of new Solarwinds is completed, will there be any issue while website launching of Orion console ?
