Wrong status in Map

Our NPM is running fine for a couple of weeks now, but since 1 or 2 weeks, the maps show constantly the wrong status of the nodes. The weird about it: The lines, whose status depends on the status of the nodes, are shown as down - with the nodes still marked as up.
In the list/overview everything is fine (that means the node is shown as down). Only in the maps, there is this problem.
Have anyone here had this kind of problem or an idea how to ged rid of it?

have you made and changes to the devices since the maps were created... I have found that if you delete a device and re-add it the map entry also needs to be changed to reflect..... hover over each device and look for a 'device missing' message or similar.
