Ok, without going into massive detail ( to save me a lot of typing), I want to ask a question to see if the way we did things is the reason my Orion DB is hosed.
Is there any way to populate Orion tables once the structure is there that won't discombobulate ( a technical term) the database outside of a full restore?
In other words if the tables are there and you truncate them can you repopulate them, run the Config Wiz and expect Orion to be happy?
Oh, I might as well ask a related question. Assuming you don't care about historical data, is it possible to extract Node Info and use SQL to kick start a fresh database without having to add each Node individually via the Orion GUI? Anybody done it? What tables need to be populated at a minimum.
Thanks,
BobL.
P.S. The long story revolves around our problems trying to implement replication and maintain our old data.
