NPM service stops when terminal sessions is logged out

Running the latest SP3 on Orion 9.5 on W2K3 SP2.

Whenever i log out of my remote desktop session after some time the NPM service stops. The interesting thing is it stops gracefully. System Event log shows event 7036 The SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor service entered the stopped state.

I checked the security log and at the same time there are corresponding security events 540, 576, and 538 - but all associated with my user account. None of the ORION services are running under my user account.

Any suggestions?

Looks like the service stops even when my terminal session is open. Same three events logged.I just changed the service account to run under my own account to se if the issue persists.
