Is there a Custom Property limit?

Hi,

I have about 25 node custom properties. Only about 20 of these show up on the webpage. When I try to show all custom properties in Node management I get "string or binary data would be truncated". Is there a limit to how many I can show on the webpage? If so is this fixed in newer versions of NPM?

I'm running NPM 9.5 SP5.

Hi,

there is no limit from our side but too many custom properties can hurt performance. Also there can be limit from side of SQL Server - limit is based on number of columns in table.

Anyway what you are describing seems to be weird. I would recommend you to create support ticket and provide diagnostics for your issue.

Quick info about this issues for other customers - this issue has been already fixed in latest version so we recommend to do upgrade to latest version (NPM 10.2.1 at this moment).

And, just for general knowledge our service packs and service releases are inclusive of previous fixes. So, when and if a 10.2.2 releases (and so on) the fix will be in there.
