SAM API Poller Question for VMware UAG

In our environment we are using the VMware Unified Access Gateway (UAG) and trying to do a GET request through the API. I get a successful query however, the data is stringed together to which Solarwinds doesn't understand it. Can Solarwinds SAM natively parse this data so I can choose which ones I want. Note, I'm really new with RestAPI but trying here.

Any help is appreciated. I attached a screenshot of the output.

@deiberts Thanks for the details. It seems the API doesn't support JSON, just XML. That means API Poller cannot be used for that API. Please create Feature Request for it, so others could vote for it: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/sam-feature-requests

@deiberts API Poller supports JSON response, XML response is not supported. Please try to remove the header "Application/XML", so you get JSON output that should be the default format. API Poller will parse the JSON and provide option to monitor values you want.

Even after changing it to Accept */* , I get the same thing. I forced it to try Application/JSON and get an HTTP 406. So I assume they don't allow JSON format. Are there any plans for Solarwinds to support Application/XML format?

Even if I remove the accept header, I still get an HTTP 406 error.

Side note: with a little bit of work, you can create a PowerShell script monitor to poll the UAG API. PowerShell should be fine with either data type.
