Limitations on custom property format?

What if any limitations are there on the format of a custom property in Orion 9.5? Any character types that are not allowed or that are known to cause any other functionality issues?

Good question. I was wondering about this too. Anyone?

Hash (#) characters are not allowed.

Also the maximum name length for a custom property is 128 characters, as established by SQL Server 2005.
