I have a solarwinds group with two devices in there. I have configured two reports (Device Availability and Group Availability) If there were no outages the reports will show
Device 1 = 100% Availability
Device 2 = 100% Availability
Group 1 = 100% Availability
The issue I have is when we have maintenance going on, I schedule the devices to be in maintenance mode, But the issue is when Device 1 + 2 is in maintenance mode the group is not in UP status, So when I run the report it will show
Device 1 = 100% Availability
Device 2 = 100% Availability
Group 1 = 90% Availability
Is there anything I can do to put the group in to maintenance mode?
Can I report on the % Availability of down time for the group (I could then work out the % up time)
Or is there something else I can do to get an accurate Group Availability Report
