All,
We are looking at monitoring cisco devices using the Cisco enviromental MIB and the universal poller built into solarwinds.
We have reached the stage where we can disconnect one of the power inputs on a device with a redundant supply and display EnvMonPowerSupply 2 as 'critical' on the device dashboard.
We now want to reflect this information in the node status LED as a yellow 'warning' and send a trap to raise an incident ticket as the device hasnt failed but we need to be made aware.
Everything I have read so far suggests that only the ICMP poller (device reachability) and standard SNMP (interface) poller have an effect on the node status LED.
Is it possible to have an event detected by the universal device poller (psu/fan fail etc) change the node status to yellow 'warning'?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
