I have a customer who is running Orion Network Performance Monitor v 8.1. They have recently upgraded from version 7.
After the upgrade, they seem to be having a problem with the Polling Engine shutting down. It would work fine for a few hours and then stop. Then the charts would start to update again several hours later from that minute so therefore all the data for past few hours would be missing. Another few hours and its starts all over again.
They never had that problem with version 7.5. I can not seem to figure out what could be causing it. I have updated their hotfixes up to 4 and nothing. They have reinstalled the software twice.
I can not find errors in any logs.
Any help would be appreciated.
