Linux Net-SNMP

We recently deployed Orion NPM version 9.5 and have been configuring the Net-SNMP daemon on over a dozen CENTOS 5.2 servers.  As far as I can tell all of our CENTOS servers are running Net-SNMP version 5.3, and once I configure the basic community string information in the /etc/snmpd.conf file Orion is able to query and add the device, but here's the rub.... All but one Linux host is being discovered as an "Unknown" device type in Orion.   I've double checked the snmpd.conf files and they all look the same.  

 

Anyone have any ideas????

We are just added all of our CentOS boxes to Orion 9.5 and everything went mostly well.  I say mostly because we found we had to update to the newest version of net-snmp for thigns to work properly.

When you add the devices have you tried using the "validate" button to see if your SNMP comes back OK?
