Is there documentation on, or can someone knowledgable describe, the nitty-gritty on how node status is determined?
- How many ICMP echo requests are sent during each poll? If multiple, what does NPM consider a failure to respond?
- Once NPM polls a node and the node fails to respond, it places the node in Warning mode, correct?
- After a node is placed in Warning state, does NPM then go into a Fast Polling state for that node? From what I see, the default Fast Polling Interval is 120 seconds.....that's not very fast to me.
I appreciate any expert insight on NPM's node status polling.
