Hello fellow THWACK users

I am trying to setup an email alert in SAM - Appinsight for SQL when the database status changes from online to restoring or offline

I cannot locate this in the Add new alert wizard

I want to alert on: AppInsight for SQL: Database

As well for Mirror'd Database setups for SQL

I see there is a Database status option that you can assigned a numeric number of 0 1 or 2, but nothing where I can specify

If status equals restoring or offline

You could create a monitor with SQL Server User Experience Monitor and run a basic select state,name from sys.databases where name = "db_name". That will get your current state and name of the db.
