Exchange Server Security log full of failed login attempts

Getting alot of failed login attempts from our Orion server attempting to connect to a Exchange server.

It's odd cause the account is not locked or anything, password is correct. When i'm logged into the web GUI as Admin user and perform a test of the Exchange application monitors they all connect successfully.

Is there anywhere else i need to adjust login details or assign additional permission to log in?

We're using the basic Exchange 2000 and 2003 Template

Beyond the basic Exchange 2000 and 2003 Template do you have any other application templates applied to this node?

Are you seeing this on any of your other APM monitored nodes?

we use the same template across 2 seperate exchange servers for to seperate customers.

the one in question has the failed logins while the other does not. Same OS as well, same version of Exchange as well
