Auto Expand Application Tree?

I am setting up a dashboard to be used by our Tier I and II support. It will be on a large screen and, at times, unaccessable to users input. The manager is asking that the Application Tree that is on the dashboard auto expand showing all the components in that tree. I know that once it is expanded, it should stay expanded on refreshes but is there any way that I can set it to auto expand any time that view is brought up? I am using a filter to only allow certain components to show.

This isn't really possible using the All Applications resource but this is fairly trivial to do in Report Writer, then embed this report in a web view as pictured below.

Another option is to use the Custom Object resource to add the application components to a summary view as pictured below.
