Hi all. I have applied this template to our Barracuda, but see nothing in Alerts for this template. Does anyone know if this something I can download?
Alerts are based upon warning and critical thresholds defined within the application template, either those defined by default or by you. The alert notification is controlled by the component status when a threshold has been exceeded. The default out-of-the-box alert "Alert me when a component goes into warning or critical state" should trigger when that occurs and any alert action defined within that alert will be executed.

You shouldn't need to copy that alert, as it will pick up the new template and any components of that template. If you wanted to add specific actions which only apply what the Barracuda application breaches your thresholds, then create a new alert looking just for the application name.

For some reason I only get Up alerts and not Down. I manually set a threshold to trigger but no email is sent???? What did I do wrong? Here is the trigger condition.
In the alerts, under reset actions, create a new email action. This will send you emails when the alert condition clears.
No, the problem is that every poll cycle I get alerted for every monitor in the component, so if it is up or down I get an email for every one of them. I got it to work finally.
